Macon Centreplex – Macon, GA

Devils Champs In Any Class

The Randolph-Clay Red Devils would enter the game against the “Warriors” of SACA very confident. The Devils would enter the game undefeated and looking for victory number 60 against the Warriors. The Red Devils would feature 2 McDonald All American nominees in Lancie Cannon and Shamaine Dukes, who both are deadly from anywhere on the court. Junior sensation Rashaad Lewis would control the paint for the Red Devils and the mission would be almost complete. The Warriors would be no pushovers, for they would feature the states number one junior in Javaris Crittenton. Crittenton would control the point and James Hickson would mandate the paint. Fasten your seat belt and get read for he D.S.G.B (Down South Georgia Boyz).

Hickson would score the first 2 points of the game for the Warriors and then it would be all Red Devils. The Devils would go on a 10-2 run lead by Dukes with a jumper and cannon with a put back. SACA would call a timeout with 4:35 in the first quarter to regroup. After the timeout, Crittenton would drive the lane and dish off a no look pass to teammate Hickson for the dunk, giving SACA a left to brush the storm of the Red Devils. Dukes would score on the inbound alley-oop and the Devils would start an 8-2 run to close the first quarter. Cannon would dunk, followed by a lay up from Dexter Ellington and a put back by Rashaad Lewis. (First Quarter: Red Devils 22 Warriors 13)

Dukes would answer with 5:35 with a jump and Crittenton would answer again with 2 of his own on a lay up 25-22. SACA would battle it out against the devils to show them that it wasn’t going to be easy. Nabrenton Murphy for SACA would get a put back to cut the lead to one point 24-25 with 4:15 left in the quarter. Murphy would ring again to give SACA their first lead 28-27 with 2:53 in the game. The Devils would go on a 9-2 run to close out the third.
