Andy Ogide On Da Bricks! (Strictly Business)

Quote Kut on this, “It shall come to pass that the world will know who Andy Ogide is.” No longer a sleeper, the giant has awakened and lets everyone in on the Michael Jordan 45 basketball card. Andy is ranked 9 by 4SHOT Hoops Burning 50 and looks to take his game to the new look Ole Miss Rebels.

EPMD!

On a trip through Paulding County (O my bad 45mins to a hour west of Atlanta) Dallas Georgia, the radar beeped very loud and you know I had to go to investigate. Once on the scene camera crews from Hollywood were on the scene to film take 2 of Andy Ogide, “The Walking Highlight Reel”. One cameraman asked me for film but I used mine on the exclusive shots. I snuck in the backdoor to get the World Premiere On Da Bricks… If you don’t know, now you know…

Kut: Who is Andy Ogide?

Andy:  A player out of Paulding County that no one has heard of. Trying to do big things. I have a great jump shot, can run the floor, can block shots, very athletic and taking it to the University of Virginia.

Kut: Who would you say is the most influential person in your life?

Andy: My mom Patience Ogide, she is a real strong woman and helps me out a lot.

Kut: If you had one opportunity to meet any one in the world, who would that be and why?

Andy:  MJ cause he is the best player in the world and he is doing it business wise. Jordan is always on top of the game.

Kut:  What part of your game did you improve over the summer?

Andy: Probably defense. The offense is usually there. I improved by working against players bigger than me and about my size.

Kut:  What one word describes yourself?

Andy: Raw, because I feel I can be better than I am right now.

Kut: Every time you step on the floor with your team. Do you play for the name in front of the jersey or the back?

Andy: I play for the name on the front. Because if I score 50 and the team loses it doesn’t mean anything, so you got to play for the team.

Kut: What’s your goal this year?

Andy: To make another step and get to the second round of the state playoffs. Last year was the first time Paulding County ever made it, so trying to advance a step further.

Kut: What’s the last cd you purchased?

Andy: Lil Wayne Carter II

Kut: Is it better than the first one?

Andy: Yep, well I love the first one. I change my mind but it’s up there with the first one.

What one word describes yourself?

Kut: What’s your favorite food?

Andy: Pizza (laughing)

Kut: Nike, Reebok or Addidas?

Andy: Nike, easy!

Kut: What’s your dream vacation?

Andy: Laying out in the Bahamas

Kut: What is something about you that if you didn’t tell someone they would never know?

Andy: I collect basketball cards.

Kut: What’s your price card?

Andy: The Michael Jordan 45 card when he came back into the league.

Kut: What player have you guarded and might have said to yourself “man that guy is just as good?”

Andy: Vernon Macklin (headed to Georgetown). Macklin a beast, very strong, quick and athletic.

Kut: What’s your most memorable moment playing basketball?

Andy: Hitting the winning shot my freshman year at Paulding. We hadn’t won a game in 3 years and we beat Country Carrollton.

Kut: Who is you favorite player in the NBA?

Andy: Labron James. He can do it all. He is 6’8 pass like a point guard and feels the stat sheet up every night.

Kut: Sean John or Roca-Wear

Andy: Got to go with the Sean John

Kut: What’s your favorite throwback?

Andy: Michael Jordan 45

Kut: Halle Berry, Sanaa Lathan or Janet Jackson?

Andy:  Can’t go wrong with Halle Berry

Kut: Thanks for hanging out On Da Bricks and good luck in the future.

Andy: Thanks I really appreciate it.

Job 2:10 shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?”

Referring to how we are happy as long as we don’t have problems but as soon as something arises we start to doubt GOD… -taking from Wayne Washington aka Tone Vic-

Still looking for the first lady of On Da Bricks… Maya Moore - Nikitta Gartrell or _____ ______ (your name)?
