The Georgia Hawks - Team 1994 (11U) finished in a two way tie for 2nd place at the 1st annual Georgia Hawks Invitational this weekend  (3/31 - 4/2)  at GACS. The event was extraordinarily competitive (5 of the 6 teams are the defending AAU 10U State Champions), and the girls were challenged to compete in every game. 

The Alabama Twisters won the championship and posted an impressive 5-1 record. Two teams finished pool play with 3-2 records (SC 76'ers advanced to the championship since they defeated the Hawks in pool play) and two teams tied for 4th place with 2-3 records.

In all, 16 games were played, and the average margin of victory was <8 points, and 9 games were won by 5 points or less.
