Have you ever experienced deja’vu?  Ever saw something that you just couldn’t explain?  4SHOT Sports brings you sports on a whole ‘nother level.  And now, we’re taking it a step further.  We’re taking you into another dimension.  Another time.  Another place.  We’re taking you…into “The Hightight Zone”.

Teondre “Tee” Williams tha High Flyer at Da Creek
Meadowcreek High School junior, Teondre Williams has always had potential, but after a coming-out party against Parkview High last basketball season, he officially took off into his own “Highlight Zone”.  After being in the shadow of one of GA’s best players in Chris Allen, Williams has now accepted his role and he knows he, too, can shine.  And shine he has.  After a disappointing loss in the Elite Eight, the Oakland, California native is itching for basketball season to roll around again.  But first, he takes you inside his “Highlight Zone”.

Klapp:  Introduce yourself.

Teondre:  Teondre  “Tee” Williams tha High Flyer at Da Creek.

Klapp:  First off, how does it feel to lead off “The Highlight Zone” feature on 4SHOT Sports?

Teondre:  It always feels good to be the first to do anything.

Klapp:  Who is that one person in your life that you know you wouldn’t be where you are without their support?  Why?

Teondre:  My mom and my little brother.  They push me harder than any coach and I love her very much.

Klapp:  What is that one thing you constantly hear from your parents or coach that gets on your nerves but you know deep down you need to hear it?

Teondre:  Stay focused…it gets annoying but I need to hear it.

Klapp:  So, what are you most looking forward to about the upcoming basketball season?

Teondre:  Just to prove that our team is one of the best in the state because I think we still don’t get the respect we deserve.

Klapp:  What part of your game are you working on the most during the off-season?

Teondre:   My defense and aggressiveness.  Those are my two dark areas, but you will see improvement this season.

Klapp:  What type of workouts/drills are you doing to improve your game as a whole?

Teondre:  Just ballhandling and shooting and I play pickup games anywhere I can.

Klapp:  What has been the most memorable moment of your high school career, thus far?

Teondre:  Getting to the elite eight even though I had a bad performance it was a great experience overall.

Klapp:  AAU career?

Teondre:  My AAU career has been good so far I have seen many good players and it has been fun.

Klapp:  What AAU team do you play for?

Teondre:  I play with Worldwide Renegades.

Klapp:  What does it mean to be apart of your AAU squad?

Teondre:  It is fun being with ten other guys wanting to play basketball and have fun

Klapp:  Who has been the toughest player you’ve had to face high school ball?

Teondre:   Chris Allen I play this man everyday in practice and it just makes me better. Delano Howard, too.  He is really fast.

Klapp:  AAU ball?

Teondre:  Delwan Graham…we go at it everytime we play the (Atlanta) Celtics.

Yes, he is really that high....
Klapp:  Without giving anything away, what top five colleges are you checking you out so far?

Teondre:  My five are Texas, Florida, Michigan State, Georgia, and Clemson

Klapp:  Who is Teondre on the court?

Teondre:  Teondre on the court is just quite laid back and get the job done

Klapp:  Who is Teondre off the court?

Teondre:  Teondre off the court is loud ,funny and got lots of energy

Klapp:  What TV show you know you have to Tivo if you’re not there to watch it?

Teondre:  Martin and Wayans Brother

Klapp:  What’s bumping in your cd player right now?

Teondre:  Anything T.I , Young Joc , Lil Wayne…thats it.

Klapp:  The Pool Palace, Lean Wit It Rock It, Walk It Out, Joccin’, or na’an one of ‘em?

Teondre:  I don’t dance a lot but when I do I just Rock Wit It

Klapp:  If you could go on the road with any artist, who would it be?  Why?

Teondre:  T.I that’s my favorite artist.  He just crunk and keep me going.

Klapp:  Would you want a future in the NBA or on Wall Street?

Teondre:  Of course the NBA.  I LOVE basketball

Klapp:  Better yet, if I said you could make a $300,000 a year riding the bench in the NBA or $5 million running your own business on Wall Street, which would you choose?

Teondre:  $300,000, easy.  Just to do what I love.  Basketball

Klapp:  If you had to use word to describe Meadowcreek High School, what would it be?

Teondre:  There really isn’t one word.  DA CREEK is fun, it is very diverse, and no school is better.

Klapp:  Alright, now in “The Highlight Zone”, it’s your world, your alternate dimension.  In your Highlight Zone, what would be different about…

Klapp:  High School?

Teondre:  Less work

Klapp:  Girls?

Teondre:  Nothing keeps them the same

Klapp:  Ball?

Teondre:  More time on the clock

Klapp:  Music?

Teondre:  Played anywhere at anytime

Klapp:  Friends?

Teondre:  Keep the same

Klapp:  The Black Community?

Teondre:  Make better decisions

Klapp:  Teondre?

Teondre:  Keep me as I am

Klapp:  Finally, what would you call your Highlight Zone?

Teondre:   IT’S “TEE “ TIME

Klapp:  Alright, man, you got some shout-outs?

Teondre:  I just want to say what’s up to my coaches and all the people that helped me since I started playing ball.

Klapp:  Any last words?

Teondre:  Watch out for “DA CREEK”.  We coming.

Klapp:  That’s some powerful words right there.

Teondre:  I know.

You already know the pose.
Thanks for the time, TEE.  I'm coming to check you out this season to see if you still high-flying....

What's your "Highlight Zone"?...
