What’s been going on with you for the summer?

AAU basketball, traveling, and training. It has been a great summer for me so far.

Become a basketball analyst and scout yourself?

I consider myself to be a five star prospect. I am one of the deadliest pure shooters in the nation. A lot of scouts and analysts have been slipping on me and not ranking me as high as I think I should be ranked. It keeps me working hard on my game.

What will you do this summer to improve what you consider a weak part of your game?

Work on my dribbling abilities and continue to work on my physique.

What does it mean to be an Atlanta Celtic?

It means a lot to be apart of the best AAU program in the nation.

What’s the difference in AAU versus your high school team?

In AAU, there is more talent on the court. You get to play against the best in the nation.

Why the transfer to South Atlanta High School?

Because we moved. It’s a better situation over at South Atlanta. The Clayton County public high school system is going through a lot problems right now

I know your team came up short last year in the state playoffs falling short to the eventually champs, the Tucker Tigers. What was the hardest part about that?

That we practiced and played so hard that season and the ring was the only thing on our mind that year. We were so talented. The hardest thing is that every time I see Manny Atkins he has on the ring.

How close are you and Manny Atkins? How would you describe him?

Real close. Manny is hilarious. He doesn’t stop laughing.

How close are you and Noel Johnson? Tell me something about him that he probably wouldn’t tell?

Real close. That he used to play baseball

What’s your opinion on people comparing Lebron James to Michael Jordan?

Lebron is not really on Michael’s level yet. He doesn’t shoot as good as MJ and doesn’t play with control like MJ

It felt like home when I visited Auburn. I really like the coaching staff a lot. They made me feel like I was part of their family. At Auburn I know that I have a very good situation ahead of me.
