The Generals finished the 2008 season undefeated to record its second undefeated season in three tries.
The Generals relied on their potent running attack to down the Golden Eagles getting huge efforts from running backs Cornell White and Darius Dean with both scoring on long runs as they ran over and through the Golden Eagle defense for the entire contest.
There were four big touchdown plays that saw White scoring on the first three times he touched the ball going 60, 66 and 53 yards and Dean ripping off 65 yards for a score.
After holding Davis to three-and-out on its next possession, Dean fumbled to Cedric Davenport, giving the ball back to the Golden Eagles.
Six plays later Davis was on the board after a 13-yard touchdown run by Demetrius Odum.
After a failed two-point conversion, the score remained 14-6 entering the final quarter.
