Covington, GA - It’s Playoff Time!! The 2008 high school playoffs are right around the corner. High schools across the state are gearing up for the battle of the top region leaders.

Team practices are very intense during the week leading up to first round action beginning November 14.

Coaching staffs are stressing execution and discipline to do all they can to get their teams into the second round of play.

Host schools are working hard to make sure logistics are in order to accommodate visiting participants and fans.

Marching bands are putting together new routines and cheerleaders are getting their voices clear to show their support for their gladiators.

The GHSA staff is making sure the logistics are in perfect place for all events to insure a smooth and successful outing.
