Street Talk "UnKUT"
with Brittany Jack

If you don’t already know you’d better ask somebody because the word on “Street Talk” is that this is no ordinary baller, so don’t get it twisted. At 5-9 she can play in the post, handle the rock, stick the jumper and “D” you up; you don’t know who I’m talking about do you. Well let me introduce you to Brittany “BJ” Jack, a junior from Peachtree Ridge H.S., who has the 4SHOT Hoops Radar going off the charts…

L.A.: Tell the “Other” players your full name, that way when they get schooled they will remember who schooled them?

BJ:  Brittany Nicole Jack

L.A.: Just in case they can’t remember your full name, do you have a nickname we can throw at them?
BJ: BJ or “Little showcase 32” that I got from my good Friend Zachary Graham who plays for Ole Miss. He is the original “Showcase 32”

L.A.: What school do you attend and what is your school classification (freshman, sophomore etc.)?

BJ: I attend Peachtree Ridge High school and I am a junior

L.A.: Which AAU program do you play for in the summer?

BJ: Georgia Nike Pistols for Coach Boscoe.

L.A.: Are you originally from Atlanta, GA, if not where are you from?

BJ: Yes, I am originally from Atlanta, GA and I have lived here for 16 years.

L.A.:  Who have been some of the most influential people in your life?

BJ: I would have to say both of my Parents. My dad is the one that put the ball in my hands when I was 4 years old and really worked hard with me.  My mom is always very supportive. Out of all the games I’ve played, I think she has missed MAYBE 2.

L.A.:  What has been one of the most memorable moments in your athletic career so far?
BJ: When I hit a three from about half court with 2 girls on me and we upset the Number 7 team in the state!

L.A.:  What moment(s) would you most like to forget?

BJ: When Maya Moore threw my shot to the other side of the court!

L.A.: Who has been one of the toughest players you ever had to play against and who is the best high school player you personally have ever seen?

BJ: THE toughest player I have ever played against and ever seen is hands down Maya Moore. I played against her my freshman year.

L.A.: Tell me something about yourself that people wouldn’t know by just looking at you?

BJ: I am very,very,very goofy.

UnKUT: Not everybody can handle it when you come at them “Un-KUT” but on Street Talk everything is “Un-KUT”, no bias, no allegiances except to GOD and no make believe. Nobody can do you like you, so give it to them “Un-KUT”

BJ is a double-double waiting to happen evey night she hits the court,
L.A.: As an athlete is it easier to get a date or harder?
BJ: Easier, because I only date athletes and Majority of the time athletes like dating other athletes.

L.A.: You are a basketball recruiter or analyst and you are scouting you, briefly what would your take be on your game:

BJ: Very athletic, vocal, and has a very nice shot.

L.A.: Do you get special treatment at home because you play sports?

BJ: Not at all!

L.A.: Can you cook, and I don’t mean boil an egg (laugh)?
BJ: Oh yes! My mother, Grandmother, and aunts ALL can throw down, and I have been watching everything they did since I was little, so I can hook up a little something!

L.A.: Who is your favorite teacher in school?

BJ:  My 8th grade social studies teacher, Mrs. House.

L.A.: Which subject do you like most and which subject do you like least?

BJ: I absolutely Love Language Arts. Math is my ALL TIME least favorite.

L.A.:   What do you think you need to work on to take your game to the next level?

BJ: Ball handling for sure. I want to be one of those type of players that is unstoppable from any spot/position on the floor.

L.A.: If you could change anything in the world today what would it be?

BJ: Racism. I think that it is the dumbest thing ever.

L.A.: Ok keep it real now, do you use the fact that you are an athlete to sometimes get your way?
BJ: mmm Maybe sometimes (smile).

L.A.: How does summer ball (AAU) differ from the regular season and do you like playing AAU ball more?

BJ: AAU ball is a lot faster than regular season ball and I love playing very fast and Up-tempo games. Plus traveling all over the country and becoming family with the girls on the squad is one of my favorite parts.

L.A.: What do you want to do after your basketball career is over?

BJ: Travel to a lot of different countries and Learn about their culture, especially the food :)
