Back in August we received e-mail from a young man with his football player profile

information. But the e-mail also contained more than just football information. At first glance we didn’t know if it was real because it appeared to be to good to be true, not his football stats but is early life calling to minister.
The e-mail
”First, let me just say this is a wonderful and quite positive website -- thanks. I am Rev. Antonio Jennings a 10th grade student at North Atlanta High School. Here is my player profile and I am also attaching a copy of my bio to this e-mail. I didn't get to play football in the 9th grade because I was in the marching band. This past Friday, coach allowed me to play free safety, Saturday I was singing at Mozley Park, and this morning I was in somebody's pulping preaching the Gospel. Same thing next week -- game on Friday, singing on Saturday, and preaching at Greater Piney Grove on Sunday. Whether its football, basketball, baseball, academics, or preaching -- I just want God to use me and for other see the Lord in me no matter what I am doing. Be Blessed!”
To good to be true right, at least that’s what I thought….
But then on Sunday (October, 19th) when I opened the Sunday’s sports page I started reading an article about a young man that sounded very familiar. As I continued to read the article it dawned on me that this was about the young man who had written us back in August.
When I finished reading the story a smile came to my face because here was a young 15 year old high school student proclaiming his unequivocal love for GOD and his call to help and share with others.
The young man is 5-10, 160lb Antonio Jennings, a 10th grade student athlete at North Atlanta High School who happens to play safety on the schools football team.
In my book you have already made the cut, continue to let GOD lead you. By always defending his word that truly makes you “The real MINISTER of Defense”.
