The Blue Devils would hold judgement on everything in the paint behind “The Lumber Jack” Daniel Emerson. Would Stephenson pull the upset or would they fall victims to the undisputed Blue Devils? Hold tight for the verdict.

The Final Four
Class AA - Buford vs. Greenville

The Greenville players give each off "Five" before tipping off against Buford.
The Buford basketball team had a chance to do what the football team has done several times over the last few years win a state championship but first they have to get by the “Patriots” and their smooth 6-5 all-state performer junior Lashun Watson, who will be matched up against his AAU Atlanta Celtics teammate from Buford 6-3 senior Andre Morgan.

The Final Four
Class AAAAA - Wheeler vs. Newton
Welcome to the wild Wild West at the Gwinnett Arena, were they are taking no names and players are wanted dead or alive. The Wheeler High “Wildcats” would enter the game with super confidence against the Newton “Rams”, coming off the biggest upset of the year with a win over number one South Gwinnett “Comets”.

The Final Four
Class AAAAA - Redan vs McEachern

The Final Four
Class A - Hancock Central vs. Randolph-Clay
Shamaine "Don't Hurt'em" Dukes was unstoppable scoring 31 points including 5 three-pointers.
When the state’s classifications changed yet again this past year and Randolph-Clay was dropped down from Class AA to Class A it was a foregone conclusion in our minds that with practically the entire team that included returning McDonald’s All-American nominee’s 6-2 Shamaine “Don’t Hurt’em” Dukes and 6-6 Lancie “The Quite Storm” Cannon returning after winning the Class AA Championship that they would be the odds on favorite to run roughshod over the competition in Class A.

The Final Four
Class AAAA - Mays vs. Griffin
May's Brandon Simmons finished with 15 points.
Griffin “Bears” versus the Mays “Raiders” would be a game of total experience. Both teams would enter the games with state rings already.

Damian Duncan defends Sandy Creeks Daniel Hendricks in win "Now or Never!"
The final four game between the “Tigers” of Tucker High versus the “Patriots” from Sandy Creek was nothing but a shoot out and a jungle affair

The Final Four
Class AAAA - Etowah vs. Jones County

The Etowah Lady Eagles were athletic, big, and could fly as high as the sky. The Jones County Lady Greyhounds were simply outmatched and under the radar of the Lady Eagles falling to a 47-41 loss in the 4-A semifinals at the Gwinnett Arena.

The Final Four
Class A - SACA vs. Terrell County

SACA's Justin Prothro with the SLAM!
Three state finals in a row! Five consecutive trips to the Final Four!  Can you say DYNASTY!  I’ll say it for you, the Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy Warriors have one of the top programs in the state in any class.  Oh yeah, did I fail to mention that Dwight Howard is no longer their?  For all those who thought that it was the Dwight Howard Warriors, realize now that it has ALWAYS been the SACA Warriors.

Mar 2, 2005, 05:30 EST

The Lady Pirates of Stone Mountain shot out of the shoot with junior forward Leslie Phillips leading the attack dumping in eight points, four more than the Westside-Macon Seminoles could conjure for the entire first period of play in the Georgia state final four playoffs held at the Gwinnett arena on Wednesday.
