2006 4SHOT Hoops All-State Teams
The 2006 4SHOT Hoops Girls All-State Teams were announced this past week and the list of players include some of the top ballers in the country. In all 6 Teams were named. The All-Freshman team was also announced.

Win or go home! That is the order of business as the Lady Warriors of Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (SACA) opened up with a solid opening round victory over the Lady Blue Devils of Bremen by a score of 64-54 at the Dwight Howard II Gymnasium on the campus of SACA.

Milton vs. Lassiter
The game between the Lady Warriors of Cherokee versus the Lady Trojans of Lassiter would take place in the battle for it all. The Lady Warriors Jennifer Ervin would be no joke; a game high 18 points would seem to be enough.
Third Place Game. The Eagles do double overtime.

Avondale wins Region 5-3A title

A couple of weeks ago Avondale beat Towers by 20 points to avenge their only regional loss of the season, but just to make sure that Towers got the message Avondale pounded the lifeless “Lady Titans” 64-29 to capture the Region 5-3A Championship.
In the 3rd Place Game Westlake knocked off Southside.

The ladies were doing their thing in the regional tournaments. There were a couple of upsets and a few no brainers. Will Collins Hill repeat? Can Nikitta Gartrell carry Mays? Would Stephenson J & J connections be enough for a championship? Click and found out!

4A Sub-Region 5W Tourney
South Atlanta and Columbia both held on for wins in the 4A Sub-Region 5W Division Tournament being held at Columbia High School. Both will now advance to take on the top 2 sub-region seeds Stone Mountain and North Clayton on Friday.
