2005 - GA Olympics XXXIV (Class A)
Johnson County's Brad Moorman won the 110 High Hurdles just ahead of Pelham's Shon Atkins who later won the 300 IHH.
The “Hornets” from Pelham H.S. did enough stinging on Friday and Saturday to come away with the schools 1st State Track & Field Championship.

2005 – GA Olympics XXXIV (Class AA)
Kris Ward Providence Christian (in blue) blew past Saji Girvan (Grady) and Justin Schneider (GAC) to take home the gold in the 800 Meters
Charlton County trailed Grady High School heading into the final day of action at the Track & Field Championships but after the first event (the 4x100 Meter relay), which they won and 5 individual titles later the “Indians” held up the Class 2A Track & Field Championship Trophy.

Redan's David Chaplin, who will be running for the Iowa "Hawkeyes" next year edges Jarrell Stewart (Wheeler) to win the 100 Meters.
The rain delays and lightning strikes weren’t enough to slow down Redan High School at the 34th Annual Georgia Olympics Track & Field State Championship in Jefferson, GA on Saturday. The fleet footed “Raiders” ran away with 4 individual and 2 relay titles enroot to their 2nd consecutive Class 5A Track & Field State Championship.

Clarke Central's Jasper Lumpkin edges Evander Wells from Stone Mountain to win the 100 Meters.
The “Jaguars” from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA did not win one individual track title Saturday in Jefferson but when the gold was on the line Cedar Shoals got after it.

2005 – GA Olympics XXXIV (Class AAA)

Kirk Carter (Oconee Co.) and Marquis Pope (Banneker) battled for 2 laps in the 800 Meters before Capt. Kirk turned on the warp speed over the last 20 yards to win the race. Pope did win his gold metal capturing the 1600 Meter crown.
The “Trojans” from Carrollton High School placed 2 double winners on the victory stand as they outscored second place Monroe High School by 22 points to win the Class AAA Track & Field Championship.
