Decatur, GA – Head Coach Dorothy Seay-Mayberry and her Lady Pirates from Stone Mountain MS overcame a scoreless 1st quarter and a three-point half time deficit to storm back against Miller Grove MS and capture the 2009 DeKalb County MS Tournament of Champions, championship trophy.

Decatur, GA – Stephenson MS's Breanna Edwards was feeling it early scoring 6 points as the Lady Jaguars jumped out to an 8-2 lead. A three-pointer by B. Velez from Chapel Hill MS would cut the lead to 8-5 with just under 3:00 minutes left in the first quarter.

College Park, GA – Woodward Academy all-state performer Elan Brown once again put all of her skills on display as the Lady War Eagles easily disposed of a gutsy Mary Person’s team. Brown scored inside and out enroot to a game high 20 points.
