Butler vs. West Charlotte
West Charlotte was not about to let Butler beat them fr a third time this season.
Greensboro, NC – The memory of having lost two other games to the nationally ranked Butler “Lady Bulldogs” this season was quickly erased as Christal Caldwell (Univ. of Florida signee) dropped 28 to lead the Lady Lions to victory.

Forestview vs. T.C. Roberson

Greensboro, NC – The backcourt of tandem of Jr.-Shannon Smith and Jr.-Kelsey Harris from Forestview H.S. were pretty much unstoppable against T.C. Roberson H.S. in the Western Region Championship game. The duo combined to score 51 of the teams 66 points to lead their team to victory.

Mt. Tabor knocks-off No.1 ranked Hopewell to advance to the state finals.
Greensboro, NC – Mt. Tabor’s big three: Sr.-Michael Grace, Sr.-C.J. Harris and Sr.-Josh Hicks combined for 56 of the teams 67 points as they knocked off No.1 ranked and undefeated Hopewell H.S.

Concord vs. Forestview
Forestview H.S. wins the West Region Championship.
Greensboro, NC – With .08 seconds to play it looked like Concord and Forestview were heading for overtime but the Jaguars’ Jack Sumner was fouled. The 6-1 freshman stepped to the line and like a seasoned pro calmly drilled both shots to win the game.

East Lincoln vs. Shelby

Shelby now moves on the the state Class 2A Championship ext weekend.
Greensboro, NC – Things got off to a rocky start for Shelby as their 6-5 star Eric Mayo picked up two fouls with less than one minute gone in the first quarter and had to sit the remainder of the half.
