(Griffin 16, Mays 10) With 4:17 left in the second quarter, Mays would go on a run behind 6 points (23-17). The run would start with 2 points on a lay from Rashad Chase followed by a Jumper from Brandon Simmons who came in and scored 7 points in the quarter. The run would stop with two straight baskets by Griffin’s Ah’Keem McKinney and Griffin would go in at the half 27-23. Jay Brown would start the third quarter with a blow by Rashad Chase for an easy basket to push the lead up six points. Brandon Emerson would answer the bell in the third would create a 8-0 run just by being on the court and Mays would get as close as two points. The third quarter Griffin 42 Mays 38. Mays would hang around in the fourth and Rashad Chase would hit a jumper to tie the game at 44-44 with 4:27 left in the game. Griffins Eddie Adams would score 2 points on a dunk give griffin the lead but Mays Ramon McElrathbey would answer back with 3:35 left with the score tied 46-46. Mays would take the lead for the first time of the game on a basket from the little man Deandre Bray 48-46 with 2:49 left in the game and wouldn’t look back.
