Terrell Co. ends Hebron’s Cinderella season

Macon Centreplex – Macon, GA

Terrell Co’s season of excellence will continue as they defeated a new member of the GHSA in Hebron Christian Academy by a score of 53-40 to advance to the state title game against Calhoun Co. Terrell Co. will be making their second straight trip to the final four, as last year they competed for the Class AA title.

The Lady Greenwave from Terrell Co. were again led by Florida State signee Tanae Davis who had a game high 27 points. Davis plays the game effortlessly as she can score from either inside or outside.

Hebron is a team that can shoot the lights out from anywhere on the floor. On this night the Lady Lions could not find their rhythm on their jumpers as Meredith Montgomery was held in check throughout the game

Though Tanae Davis is the big name, the Lady Greenwave has some other talent as well. Senior Shankel Allen is a very good player who has tremendous body control and is a solid ball handler. The future for Terrell Co is in good hands as freshman Monshay Thomas is going to be a special player as she scored 13 points on an assortment of shots.

Next up for Terrell County will be the Calhoun County Lady Cougars for the Class A championship.
