4SHOT Sports Championship Games 2-A Boys State Finals Championship East Hall “Vikings” vs. Greenville “Patriots” Macon Centreplex – Macon, GA Vikings Get Revenge In the first quarter, Brody Langston for East Hall would open the game up on an alley-oop and things would get to rocking. Frank Davis would drain a three-pointer from downtown Macon and East Hall would get out to a 5-0 lead. Lashun Watson would compete for the Patriots with a lay up in the paint after slashing pass his defender and Greenville would get on a roll. The first quarter would be a close one; the Vikings would finish on top to the score 23-19. The second quarter would have 6 lead changes, with 3:41 to go in the quarter Frank Davis would drive to the basket for the score and one to push the lead to 7 point 38-31. The three pointer would begin to roll in the second quarter when Jerrenda Wheeler would shot a three with 2:07 left to the score 44-33. Teammate Kevin Reeves would get in the three-point competition to close out the half at the buzzer 49-35. After the half, with 3:47 left in the quarter Frank Davis would drain a three pointer to push the lead to 20 points 47-67. From that point it would be all East Hall and all three pointers. The following is a list of players from East hall that would shot a three-pointer in the second quarter, Frank Davis, Lee Davis, Jerrenda Wheeler and Kyle Edge. Quarter ended in with the score East Hall 74 Greenville 54. The fourth would be a dunk contest and East Hall would win. Keldrick Coleman would bring the house down with a two handed tomahawk and would dunk three times in the fourth. The dunk contest would end with Kevin Reeve’s baseline line and East Hall would win their third championship in five years.
