On the fast break, Kiara would dish the ball to teammate Tyra Smith who would go in for an easy lay up moving the score to 8-4 with In the second period Bannekers Walton and teammate Andrea Stephenson would combine for 8 of the Lady Trojans 10 points. Walton would grab a team high 5 rebounds in the first half and the score would end close 18-15 in favor of the Lady Patriots. Berkmars Brittany McDonald would battle on the boards in second half and score a half high 8 points for her team. Brittany McLaughlin would hit a floater in the paint for the Lady Trojans to keep the game close 33-36 but it would be clutch free throw shooting by the Lady Patriots to seal the deal.
