This was suppose to be the marquee match-up of the day at the 1st Annual MAC-Town Shoot-Out in Macon, GA, Baldwin High School featuring senior Obinna Hurt (ranked No. 14th by 4SHOT Hoops) and 6-8 junior Martavious Adams (ranked among the top 10 juniors by 4SHOT Hoops) against the Wilkinson County Warriors and 6-0 Senario Hillman, (4SHOT Hoops No.1 ranked junior). But by the end of the 1st half the SENARIO was already written as the electrifying Mr. Hillman and the “Warriors” ran away with a convincing 82-56 win
As the teams hit the court the music started pumping and the packed house started getting juiced, the anticipation in the Centreplex was like that of a state championship game as the teams went through their warm ups.
With Martavious Adams hitting the boards Baldwin was able to get out on the break and that resulted into some strong finishes by Obinna Hurt and Darius Johnson giving Baldwin an early 6-2 lead. But Wilkinson County quickly wiped out the deficient as their two big-men, 6-7 Jonathan Whipple and 6-7 Dontrell Taylor started seizing control of the boards. A dunk by Johnson and a jumper by Senario Hillman gave the “Warriors” a 13-8 lead with 3:30 left in the 1st quarter.

The teams continued to race up and down the court, much to the delight of the packed house. Midway through the quarter Wilkinson County Head Coach Aaron Geter sent in a second wave of “Warriors” and it started taking it’s tool on the bigger Baldwin team. Hurt, who had a solid game for the “Braves” continued to be aggressive on the offensive end of the floor scored as Baldwin regained their composure and the lead 16-15 with time running down in the 1st quarter.
Midway through the 2nd quarter Hillman started giving the “Warriors” fans what they came to see as straight started going off on Baldwin. A big three-pointer by Gary Johnson and a dunk by Whipple gave the “Warriors” a 30-24 lead with 4:26 left in the half.
By the time halftime rolled around Wilkinson County had built up a 44-28 lead and leading the way was Hillman, who finished off the quarter with a thunderous one-handed dunk that brought the Wilkinson County faithful out of their seats.

Hillman continued, “To do what he do” (forgive me for that bit of wording but in Street Talk, Hillman was still going off) as the 3rd quarter got underway. The inside play of Taylor and Whipple was something to watch as they continued to disrupt things for Baldwin and the 2nd wave of “Warriors” didn’t miss a beat as Wilkinson County held Baldwin at bay. Adams didn’t have his usual solid performance but he was still able to put some points on the board for the “Braves”. Hurt on the other hand struggled to score in the second half but he but in the work on the boards as Baldwin fell behind 59-41.
The 4th quarter was just a formality for Wilkinson County, before Hillman left the game he exploded to the basket for what was going to be the dunk of the game but was fouled and hit the floor, as his teammates picked him up he looked at me and with this little grin on his face said “I was going to bring down the house with that dunk”, that’s what he do.
The “Warriors” went on and cruised to a convincing 82-56 win. Hillman was named the MVP of the game for Wilkinson County and Martavious Adams garnered the honors for Baldwin.
