Delano Howard On Da Bricks! (Floor General)

At the point, Da Bricks discovered that South Gwinnetts Delano Howard is willing to carry the torch. I had the opportunity to sit down with Howard for 11 questions with Kut (On Da Bricks). The shooting guard was named to 4SHOT Sports 2005 all state honorable mentions team and is currently ranked number 21 in the state via 4SHOT Sports Burning 50.

Averaging around 12 points per game, South Gwinnetts Delano Howard was dub part of the triple threat featuring Louis Williams and Mike Mercer. Teams had to start holding Howard accountable in their game plans. Howard played most of his time at the point but states the shooting guard position is nothing new to him, for in middle school and summer play he has played that position before. Doing it big over the summer with the Georgia Stars, we took a moment to see what’s really going on.

Kut: Who would you say is most influential person in your life?

Delano: My mom does everything for me for as going to school and ball.

Kut: What does it means to be a Georgia Star?

Delano: You have to work hard and it feels real good when you are that person on top.

Kut: Nike or Reebok?

Delano: Nike

Kut: What’s your favorite food?

Delano: Pizza

Kut: Who’s your favorite player in the NBA and why?

Delano: Allen Iverson. He gives the small guys a shot.

Kut: Sean John or Roca-Wear?

Delano: Roca Wear

Kut: What’s your favorite throwback?

Delano: OJ Simpson

Kut: What one word describes Delano Howard?

Delano: Ambitious

Kut: What do your friends call you and how did you get that name?

Delano: They just call me Lano. Short for the Delano they like to chop it up.

Kut: If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

Delano: Michael Jordan. Know need to explain why.

Kut: What would be your dream vacation?

Delano: Brazil.

Delano looks to make his impact on the next level, verbal committing to Georgia State to play basketball.
