Tri-Cities 53
Redan 51
The “Bulldogs” from Tri-Cities H.S. continue to be one of the surprise teams of the season but they had their hands full with a scrappy Redan team and they needed every one of Jonathon Inman’s 15 points to escape with a two point win 53-51. The win was the 19 win of the season for the “Bulldogs” who sit atop of Region 2-5A.

Blessed Trinity 70
Riverwood 51

It hasn’t been a great year for the Titans from Blessed Trinity but Tuesday they were able to get 23 points from 6-7 Sr.-Tim Cleary as they knocked off Riverwood 70-51 and pulled to within 2 games of the .500 mark for the season.

Norcross 62
Centennial 53
The “Blue Devils” from Norcross haven’t been as dominate as they were earlier in the season but they still keep on winning and are still considered on of the favorites to challenge for the Class 5A Title. On Tuesday night they upped their region record to 12-0 knocking off Centennial as Kentucky bound Jodie Meeks the No. 2 ranked senior in the state according to 4SHOT Hoops out dueled Centennial’s rising junior Alex Richey 24 points to 20 for a 62-53 win.

Heritage 70
Salem 53
The "Patriots" from Heritage H.S. won their 3rd game in a row and 10th game of the year knocking off cross- town rival Salem 70-53 behind a 22-point performance by Dominique Cooper.

Chamblee 70
Marist 67 OT
Chamblee is making a late run for 4th place in Region 6-4A. There 70-67 overtime
win over Marist was the "Bulldogs" 5th win in a row. Omari Buncum, a 6-1 sophomore scored 24 points to lead the way for Chamblee.

Clarkston 84
Avondale 53
The "Angoras" from Clarkston H.S. had 3 players pull a Daily Double (
Moses Patrick 20 pts., 11-reb.,  TeAndre Williams 11 pts, 10 assists and Josh Jones 10 pts., 12 reb. as they drilled an Avondale team that has yet to win a game this season.

Miller Grove 68
Decatur
The upstart Wolverines from Miller Grove H.S. in only their 2nd full season of varsity hoops got 15 points from their sensational freshman Mfon Udofia to knock off Decatur for the 2nd time this season by a score of 68 to 53. The win gives Miller Grove a 14-6 record on the year

Newton 70
Stephenson 54

If this had been a football game the score would have been a lot different but fortunately for Newton it wasn’t and they jumped all over the Jaguars and leading the way was the “Rams” 4SHOT Hoops All-Classification performer 6-0, Sr.-Jerrell Boswell who lit up Stephenson for 35 points.

Shiloh 79
Meadowcreek 70
Behind the play of Chris Allen, a 4SHOT Hoops Top 5 junior the “Mustangs” from Meadowcreek H.S. had run off 7 straight wins but they ran into a hot Shiloh H.S. team that were on a 7 game winning streak of their own and made it 8 in a row behind 18 points from Jonathan Griffin. Allen did his thing scoring 26 points but it wasn’t enough.

Greenforest  68 
Mt. Paran 60
The “Eagles” from Greenforest Christian have been flying under the radar this season and with their 68-60 win over M. Paran they now find themselves in 2nd place in Region 5N-1A. Chris Griffin who has a few 20 point games under his belt this season scored 18 points in this important win over Mt. Paran which now falls into 3rd place. Donald Brown led Mt. Paran with 20 points.

Greenville 100
Calloway 61
The “Patriots” from Greenville H.S are looking to make their way back to the Final Four to finish what they started last year and led by senior LaShun Watson (a 4SHOT Hoops Top 15 senior) a Univ. of Kentucky football signee scored a game high 32 points Greenville hit the century mark in beating Calloway 100-61.

Southwest DeKalb 46
Jonesboro 36
The “Panthers” from Southwest Dekalb had a slightly easier time with the “Cardinals” from Jonesboro than they did when the won 60-58 earlier this season. Sharp shooting Brandon Hazzard (ranked as a top 20 senior by 4SHOT Hoops) scored 18 points in the win.
