4SHOT Sports Kut's Korner - "Kut" Mike Crain Cold Summer (The Iceberg Report) The return of Mike Crain the “Pride of Lovejoy” to 4SHOT Sports. Mike has been working all summer on his shot with roommate Mike Woodard from Creekside to cool the summer off. I will never forget when I seen mike go baseline and dunked on a 6’7’ forward with two hands. I knew then that it was going to be a Cold Summer. Working out everyday consistently What have you done this summer to improve what you consider a weak part of your game? I just do a lot of shooting. I shoot anywhere from 300-500 jumpers a day. I also do off the dribble moves, etc
What does your father tell you about basketball? Keep working hard and never give up. He has always given me pointers when he noticed something about my game that I could improve. What’s the toughest player you ever had to face on the collegiate level? I could not think of just one, but I could name a few… Mike Ford, Darnell Miller, James Hall, Squeaky Johnson I know you had an injury during part of the past season. What was the hardest part about that? Getting myself back to where I was before I got hurt. What’s the difference in playing on the collegiate level than in high school? Everybody is taller and stronger and also the speed of the game is a lot faster. What is life after basketball for you? To be honest, I’m not sure yet. I would like to work within athletics like coaching or something, but I just want to be successful at whatever may come my way. Who is your favorite NBA player? Don’t have one.. What’s your opinion on people comparing Dwayne Wade to Michael Jordan? I don’t really know. D Wade has a lot a game and will only get better, but whenever somebody starts to shine in the league over everyone else, look who they compare them to…..MJ. He will always be on top to me! Which one do you think is the coldest? Allen Iverson crossing up Michael Jordan or Michael Vick splitting two Minnesota Vikings defenders for a touchdown? AI crossing MJ.. What’s the coldest thing you’ve ever done so far in your career? Drove baseline and dunked on a 6’7’ forward with two hands and got fouled. He jumped too but he fell on his back.
