Meeks shared the cover of the 2005-06 4SHOT Hoops Magazine with current Los Angles Lakers rookie Javaris Crittenton.
Former 4SHOT Hoops Magazine cover boy Jodie Meeks (Norcross H.S.) scored a game-high 34 points, including seven first-half three-pointers, in a 99-64 win over
Pikeville College at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. Wednesday night in the first of two exhibition games for the Univ. of Kentucky men's basketball team.

As a senior at Norcross H.S., Meeks garnered all type of awards that included being named 4SHOT Hoops Co-Player of the year, first team 4SHOT Hoops All-State selection, a McDonald’s All-American Honorable Mention, Georgia's Class 5A “Player of the Year” and as mention he shared the cover of the 2005-06 4SHOT Hoops Magazine with current Los Angles Lakers rookie Javaris Crittenton. Meeks tops off his senior campaign leading the “Blue Devils” to the Class 5A State Champinship.

Freshman power forward Patrick Patterson - a blue chip recruit who teamed up with Univ. of  Southern California super frosh O.J. Mayo last season to win the West Virginia state championship.

Patterson, who finished 10-of-12 from the floor for 21 points, entered the game less than two minutes in and scored four seconds later from the paint. He added an alley-oop layup late in the first half and his first dunk as the Wildcats thumped Pikesville College.
