Birmingham, AL - Day 2 of the 2008 Showtime Unlimited Tournament brought out the “Who’s, Who” of college coaches also showing up on Day 2 were some of the top AAU Teams in the country; like Boo Williams, Exodus NYC, South Carolina 76er’s, Alabama Roadrunners and Essence. 4SHOT Hoops brings you the exclusive action.

15U - Exodus Falcons (NYC) vs. GA Pistols Reported by Larry “
Sarah Durdaller, Jasmine Williams and Christen Johnson were 3 of the players that really elevated their play for the Pistols. Johnson did a nice job on the boards while Williams and Durdaller did the bulk of the scoring with 14 and 13 points respectively as the Pistols went on to a solid 15 point win. Dominique Wilson chipped in with 8 points. Exodus got 8 points apiece from Brown and Gholson.
16U - Lady Shox 16’s (TN) vs. Palmetto 76er’s (SC) Reported by Larry “
White, Smith, Horton and Sumpter all scored 8 points in the 76er’s win. Darnall and Pride shared game high scoring honors with 11 points for the Lady Shox The Final Score: Palmetto 76er’s 55 – Lady Shox 33 16U - Gauchos (NJ) vs. Wichita Legends (KS) Reported by Larry “

16U - Exodus NYC versus Team Unique Birmingham, AL - This game was the one coach Pat Summit and Vivian Stringer came to see. The Exodus was stacked with future Rutgers commitment 6’4 center Christine Huber and Tennessee hopeful Shenneika Smith. The game would start fast as Huber would score on the inbound pass to put team Exodus on the boards. Shenneika would help out by draining numerous three pointers and Team Unique had a tough hill to climb. Smith would finish the game with the only double-digit score of 12 points for Exodus. Final Score: Exodus 57 - Team Unique 27
15U - Essence versus Florida Bearcats
Birmingham, AL - Team Essence would take a early lead on the Lady Bearcats out of Oviedo Florida 14-8 with 10:12 left in the first half on a lay up by Myeisha Hall. Numerous turnovers by the Lady Bearcats would pay costly as team Essence went on a 12-2 run moving the score to 26-10 with 6:05 left in the first half. Combo guard Michelle Woods and Dominique Fowler would lead the way with 8 of the 12 points on the run. Essence would take a 35 point lead into the half 50-15. At the end of the day, team Essence would be too much for their Florida mates. Michelle Woods 20 points would lead Essence.
16U - Alabamea Twisters versus NorCal Elite Birmingham, AL -
16U - Alabama Roadrunners versus Exodus Falcons Birmingham, AL - The Roadrunners would have a low scoring affair to start their game against the Exodus Falcons from New York. The Falcons would be up 10-7 with 7:15 to go into the first half when J. Pickens for the Roadrunners would drain 2 free throws to close the gap 10-9. The Roadrunners seemed unstable as the Falcons took the lead into the half 20-13. In the second half Allysia Rohler would drain 3 three-pointers to extend the lead for the Falcons. Rohler would finish the game with an team high 9 points. The Roadrunners wouldn’t go away as J. Pickens and N. Fillmore would contribute 10 points each in the lost. The Final Score: Exodus 48 Alabama Roadrunners 42
15U - Gauchos versus Georgia Pistols Birmingham, AL - The game between the Georgia Pistols versus the NY Gauchos got off to a early start with a three-pointer from Briana Brown. The Pistols had no answer for Brown as she nailed her third three-pointer on the way to a game high 21 points. The Gauchos would go up 34-20 at the half. In the second half the Pistols coach Percy Gordon would call for the full court press to get back into the game. The press would only work in spurts, as Alvida Clemmens would continue to rain jumpers on the way to her game total of 13 points for the Gauchos. The Pistols would hang tough as they cut the lead down to 1 point 54-53 with 3:01 left in the game. The Pistols made a valiant effort with 10 points from Dominique Wilson and Sarah Durdaller. Great coaching job by coach Percy who keep his girls head in the game in the lost. Taylor Palmer also contributed 10 points for the Gauchos. The Final Score: Gauchos 56 - Georgia Pistols 54
14U - Lady Shox versus Arkansas Mavericks Birmingham, AL - The Lady Shox game against the Arkansas Mavericks was one of the most exciting games of the day. Both teams would battle back and forth, right down to the wire. Shawnessi Arnold would knock down a three-pointer to close the lead to 1 point 49-48. The Shox would hold on to the ball on the inbound to run the clock out to seal the victory. Chandler Cooper 15 points and Bashaana Graves 12 points for the Lady Shox.
