Chicago, Illinois is renowned for producing some of the best high school hoop talent in the country and when the “Old Gold” 17U AAU Team from the “Windy City” took the floor at the Atlanta Basketball Classic you got a glimpse of some that talent in the form of 6-5 Calvin Brock from Chicago Simeon High School and 5-11 Stephon Hannah from Chicago Hyde Park.

floor, defends the basket, rebounds and will throw it down on you without hesitation. Rated one of the top players in Illinois heading into his senior season at Simeon.

Last season as a junior, Brock was one of only two juniors to make the Chicago Public League All-Academic 1^st Team. He was also named to the Chicago Public League Red-South All-Conference Team.

Stephon Hannah, entering his senior season is another in a long line of top guards coming out of Chicago like Jason Straight, Sean Dockery, Will Bynum and Luther Head just to name a few. Hannah can handle the rock, he sees the floor and can stick the long jumper or take you to the hole.

Named to the Chicago Public League Red-East All-Conference Team for the second year in a row. As a sophomore he was named all-conference after averaging close to 24 points per game.
