Parker selects UCLA - It took a minute but in front of family and friends in the Miller Grover Auditorium the Wolverine’s 6-9 High School All-American Tony Parker made his college selection and that selection was the UCLA “Bruins”. Parker selected UCLA over the likes of UGA, Duke, Ohio State, Memphis and Georgetown.

Lovett upends Buford to win Class AA state title:  Lovett Head Coach Liz Kennedy and her Lady Lions had no plans on taking a step backwards as they roared loudly and took down mighty Buford to win their 1st girls state basketball title.

Call it what it is “A Dynasty” - Let’s just call it what it is “A Dynasty”, HC Jan Azar and her Lady Wolves from Weslyan are one of if not the best girls h.s. basketball program in the state of Georgia. To support that they just captured their 5th consecutive state title.

Lady Eagles learned their lesson well - Last year Columbia lost to Washington Co. in the Final 4 but they learned their lesson and rebounded to win this year 3A Title

Lady Indians simply “The BEST!” - I believe that McEachern Head Coach Phyllis Arthur knew early on in the season that her team had a great chance to have a special season and they did capturing the 5A State Championship and finishing the season 33-0.

Parker and Goodwin earn McDonald's Honor - Miller Grove's Tony Parker and Southwest DeKalb's William Goodwin were both named to play for the East All-Americans in the McDonald's All-American Game on March 28th in Chicago.

Miller Grove wins 1st Girls Hoop Championship - Head Coach Renee Breedlove and her Lady Wolverines can now add their own championship trophy to the schools trophy case.
